Here are some of the ways that your gift makes an impact:

$35 supports training for a volunteer counselor to staff our LifeLine. A woman calling the LifeLine can speak to a trained, compassionate volunteer for information, resources, advocacy, emotional support, and a safety plan for herself and her children.

$50 supports transportation assistance for WIT clients, so that they have access to WIT’s services such as peer support groups and counseling sessions.

$75 purchases toys and supplies for children in Playcare. A client can bring children with her to WIT, and leave them safely in Playcare while she meets her counselor or attends her peer support group.

$150 sponsors a WAVE Empowerment Self-Defense class for 15 students.

$250 supports a woman with 2 individual counseling sessions with a WIT counselor so that she can begin to move forward in her life.

$500 supports LifeLine Skill Development workshops for WIT clients. They can learn and gain skills to use moving forward – financial empowerment and management, family law, healthy relationships, self-care, among others.
