Moving Toward Financial Empowerment During COVID-19: Virtual Series

Financial abuse occurs in 99% of domestic violence cases (NNEDV). WIT is again addressing this crucial aspect of power and control though our group, “Moving Toward Financial Empowerment During COVID-19.”

Participants will learn about the dynamics of financial abuse, and how to regain control and confidence of their finances. Furthermore, this 5-week series will teach fundamentals of budgeting, credit, and savings, all in a trauma-informed, empowerment-based setting. Participants who complete all sessions will earn a certificate.

This FREE series is open to people of all gender identities and sexual orientations ages 14+.

WHEN: Wednesdays, May 12* - June 9, from 6:00-7:30pm
*The first session is mandatory
