Women In Transition (WIT) is excited to announce the appointment of Pamela Henshall as WIT’s new Executive Director.
Pamela brings more than 30 years of experience with new program implementation, nonprofit fundraising and development, and organizational management – along with a passion for WIT’s mission to empower people to thrive beyond domestic violence and substance abuse.
Prior to WIT, she served as the President of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, where she reorganized and re-branded the organization’s focus and service delivery model, increasing both membership and revenue as well as implementing new programs.
Pamela has also served as Director of Development at the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Philadelphia in Chestnut Hill; as President of the business to business marketing organization Shifting Trends; and as Vice President at the Camden County Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she is active in her community with volunteer roles at Jefferson Health and Holy Family University’s Business Council.
“We are thrilled to welcome Pam as our new Executive Director,” said Board Chair Melissa Landsmann. “Her passion for the mission, her extensive experience, her strong ties in the business community and connections from working with elected officials will benefit WIT immensely. We are excited to open this new chapter at WIT under her leadership.”
“I am honored and excited to join the compassionate team focusing on WIT’s mission and vision,” said Pamela Henshall. “It will be a privilege to serve as the next Executive Director through an impactful journey to guide people and empower them to thrive beyond domestic violence abuse/intimate partner violence.”
