After careful deliberation, we have decided to postpone our upcoming Empower Hour fundraiser.
Safety is a core value for Women In Transition. We want you, our guests, to have a fun and inspirational night at Empower Hour. Too many of us are feeling unease right now for that to be possible. The health and safety of our community comes first.
Although we are postponing this event, our needs as an organization are not going away. If anything, they are even more pressing. During times of stress and uncertainty, people in abusive relationships and those struggling with substance abuse need our services more than ever. Please know that all tickets purchased and any additional donations will be applied to the future date of Empower Hour. That date will be announced via our e-mail list - sign up here so you can be the first to know. However, ticketholders who wish to seek a refund now or after we announce the new event date may email Samantha Lifson at slifson@helpwomen.org.
Thank you for understanding as we put the health and wellness of our community first. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks about a new date for Empower Hour – we can’t wait to celebrate with you.
