In the midst of everything going on, we are here for you. Even though our physical location is closed for now, we can help.
The WIT Lifeline is operational, as usual, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. If you’re in need of supportive counseling for domestic violence or recovery, if you would like to talk through what is going on in your life, or if you need updates on our services, call 215.751.1111.
Did you know you can reach the WIT LifeLine by email? If email is safer than calling, email witservices@helpwomen.org (Only send an email if your address is secure and it is safe for you to do so). Just like the telephone line, this option is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Here are the other updates to our services:
Walk-in Services: We are suspending walk-in services until further notice.
Tax site: All tax site appointments are canceled until further notice. You may be able to file online, click here for more info.
Individual Counseling and Therapy are being held virtually if that’s a safe option for you. Please contact your WIT counselor directly or contact our LifeLine at 215.751.1111 or witservices@helpwomen.org to make arrangements.
Groups: WIT is launching virtual Peer Support Groups! Our groups help build self-confidence for folks looking for support around domestic violence and/or substance abuse. All genders welcome. Sign up by contacting LifeLine at 215.751.1111 [Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm] or by emailing witservices@helpwomen.org.
The 24-hr Philadelphia Domestic Violence Hotline continues to be online. Call 1-866-723-3014 if you are in crisis or seeking shelter.
